Our Curriculum
Fostering a civics mindset in the next generation
Today, Operation Democracy has refocused its mission: fostering peace through global relations while educating a new generation of American students about war, peace, patriotism, and the true cost of freedom. Two generations removed from the Greatest Generation, our youth must reconnect with history and understand the sacrifices made to secure the liberties they enjoy today.
Operation Democracy offers a robust curriculum and program suite that aligns seamlessly with New York State standards and graduation requirements in civics and social studies. Our flagship initiatives: Civic Summits, Flags for Freedom, and the K-12 Normandy Curriculum, are engaging public school districts across the state, bringing history to life in classrooms and shaping informed, civic-minded citizens.
By bridging past and present, Operation Democracy ensures that the legacy of those who fought for freedom endures, inspiring future generations to value peace, honor sacrifice, and cherish democracy. Join us in our mission to educate, commemorate, and uphold the principles that define us as a nation.
